ADVENTURE RACING
Started in 2000. Have completed 42 races from
8-hour sprints to 10-day expedition lengths. Created and hosted our own
races of up to 36 hours.
Taught Adventure Racing classes related to events and orienteering.

BACKPACKING/TREKKING
Started in 1992. Have done over 248 trips
encompassing every season; and have rolled trips likely considered Trekking into
this category. Longest day was 52 miles, with longest single
continuous distance trip being 479 miles in 19 days. Longest duration 4
months. Have hiked every trail in several parks, including
Yosemite NP. Have done trail maintenance.
Taught backpacking, advanced backpacking, winter backpacking and ultra-light backpacking classes. Also taught survival and winter survival classes.

Started in 1994. Have done more than 80 trips
encompassing every season and has included explorations. Longest trip was
270 miles. Have done trail maintenance. Have taught several people
and MTB classes.

BOATING
Started in 1996. Have done more than 27 trips
encompassing both motorboats and sailing.

Started in 1998. Have done more than 48 trips;
usually coupled onto an existing trip. Best level was V3; current level is
around V1 (5.11-).

CANOEING
Started in 1996. Have done more than 8 trips up to
Class II. (Not including Adventure Racing

CANYONEERING/CANYONING
Initially started in 1998 during backpacking and
explorations. Started canyoneering proper in 2002. Have done more
than 42 trips and 177 canyons. This included canyons up to a 4 difficulty
rating, V duration, classes A, B and C; as well as R and X ratings. Have
done several explorations as well.
Taught canyoneering and anchors classes; led most trips.

JUMPING

Started in 2000. Have incorporated conservation
ethics into my training, and life. Active in several organizations
(donations and volunteer work), and maintain/utilize environmental distribution

SLEDDING
Started in 2000. Have done 4 trips; up to 4 days
long. Camped outside with dogs on most trips.

Started in 1994. Have played in over 16 seasons,
and in several tournaments. Taught a beginner hockey school for three
years and coached for two years. Currently around a Class B skater.

up to 4 days in length. Helped maintain/stable horses.

Started in 1988. Have owned sport bikes since then
and try to ride them as much as possible throughout the year. Have taken

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING
Started in 1995. Have done more than 108 trips; up
to four months long. Best level was 5.12 trad with some big wall
experience; current level is around 5.11 TR, 5.10 Sport and 5.9 Trad. Have
done trail maintenance. Have taught many people and climbing classes.

MOUNTAINEERING
Started in 1998. Have done 512 successful summits
on significant
peaks on more than 55 trips; up
to six months long in duration. These trip numbers don't include the local climbs of
the 14'ers in Colorado. Have taught many people, and mountaineering
classes.
Mountains: 92 14'er climbs ( 42 Different 14'ers climbed with many repeats - and 21 snowboard descents. ) Rainier x 10, Cook, Kilimanjaro, Hood x 7, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Popocatepetl, Ixaccihuatl, Nevado de Toluca, La Malinche, CA Sierras (Whitney, Sill, Palisade, Polemonium, etc), Gannett, Grand Teton, Middle Teton, South Teton, Owens, Kings. Started in 2001.
Currently have only done it one time, in a tandem setup.

of which were also ascending and rappelling classes. This doesn't include

Climbing, Mountaineering,

Proficient, and usually use 8mm ropes. Longest was a 900 foot single line
rappel.

ROLLERBLADING
Started in 1996. Have done more than 63 trips;
usually coupled onto an existing trip. Used as a method of travel or
sightseeing. This doesn't include the many times around locally, a few
times in Adventure Racing or playing rollerblade

RUNNING
Started in 2000. Have done a marathon, a
triathlon, and three smaller races of 5-10k. These are just the running
events, this doesn't include the many local runs or runs done while
Adventure Racing, etc.

DIVING

original crazy/poor-man's base jumps which we use to call
slacklining...

trips. This only includes trips that I went specifically for snorkeling.
