Ken and Kim Grayson

Whenever I mention going to visit a "friend" or "friends" in California, it is a pretty safe bet that it will be Ken and Kim.  I grew up with Ken, and will forever know him as Ken Graczyk the paperboy.  Ken and I used to share a paper route when we were just little tykes.  Ahh, memories.  Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be...

Kim, on the other hand, I only met through Ken a few California trips ago, but she is the type of person you feel like you have known forever.  They are both great people with a great outlook on life, living in a great location.  Isn't that great?  I am often quite envious when they tell me they rode their bike to work while I was still shoveling snow from my driveway (though that situation is now a little different since I now live in Colorado!)  This is one of the reasons that I try to visit them so much.  The other is that "great" thing...

Here is a picture of them that was taken when I went to visit in September of 1997. It was a really fun trip. It was the same trip that we did the scuba diving off of the Channel Islands.

On the same trip, we went rappelling at Point Dume. Here is Kim "wildwoman" Grayson showing her stuff on the mountain faces.

They are currently still living in California, and have a beautiful set of twin girls; Riley and Summer.  Can't wait to get out there and see them again!
