Thanks for taking a look at my wish list. For those who know me, you know that I go out of my way to try to help as many people as I can. Over the years, it has made me very happy to meet others that also take this approach to life. (Unfortunately, they are the minority. Hopefully, when people run into them, it has a positive impact and creates a desire that drives more people to take this approach.) Personally, I find it gives tremendous personal satisfaction to see someone learn a new activity, find a job that they love, push their limits and succeed, be there if someone needs to talk, or even just provide shoulder to cry on. This is my list of things that I would love to do in my life, but haven't had the opportunity or haven't met the right people. I have learned that many times, being the right person isn't enough. You just need to talk to the right person at the right time to make things happen. If you have any information that would help these become a reality, please contact me.
Movies - I think it would be fantastic to be involved in television or movies. With my diverse background in outdoor, business and technology sectors, as well as my undying curiosity and boundless energy; I think I would make a great candidate. This would encompass doing parts in television or movies; of special interest would be hosting or being part of an outdoor program. I have caught glimpses of shows where the host tries new sports and activities, and would be glad to be the adventure guinea pig! If anyone has any contacts or leads, feel free to contact me.
Mountaineering - I would love to hook up with some serious mountaineers to learn more, and experience some of the larger peaks. An Everest (or other 8,000 meter peak) expedition would be a dream come true (although, I do understand that rigorous time, effort and training would be involved.)
Writing - I have been writing about my experiences, and have been published in several magazines. I did pick up a CD that has general article submission information for magazines. Going again on the basis that it helps to have a contact, any information is appreciated.
Photography - Much like the writing, I've been doing photography for several years. If you have any tips and/or contacts to share; I'd be happy to listen!
Adventure Racing - I've got a pretty good background in Adventure Racing. While it's not really a priority for me anymore, I'd still be game to join up for a few more races; especially if there is already sponsorship lined up.
