Sunday 6/21:
Jen and I were going to head out biking for the weekend with Jonas and Misty, but we got sad news. Jen's Dad had passed away, so we went to South Dakota for the funeral. Met a lot of Jen's relatives, which was nice; just wish it was under better circumstances. Some of the family headed over to Devil's Tower on Sunday; and we did the loop hike around the tower. It was a beautiful day, and I was happy to be able to explain some of the climbing techniques and routes on the monument. We saw some climbers on the rock (even though June is a "voluntary climbing closure" as it's a sacred month for the Indian tribes that worship (at) the mountain.)
