Sunday 2/15:
It was another beautiful day, and I wanted to stretch my legs a little more before meeting up with my parents. My Aunt had passed away, and my parents were in town. Jen and I headed to Anemone for a short hike. The plan was initially tentative, as I didn't know if I would be sore from the big day yesterday. Thankfully, my legs felt a little tired, but not sore. I love the fact that I rarely get sore. If I could only bottle that...
We started at Settlers Park, and hiked up to the summit of Anemone. Enjoyed the views from the summit for a few, and then took a different trail down. Jen's feet started to hurt her, so she was going to head back to the car. I continued down to Centennial Park; on the way, got a call from my folks. They would be in Boulder in a couple hours. From Centennial, I went back up to the Red Rocks area, then back down to the car. We headed back to the house, after our nice little hike.
